  1. March was the 1st month in the Roman Calendar.
  2. March was named for the Roman God of War (Mars).  Warriors would begin to train and fight as the frost thawed and the ground became easier to work on.
  3. Daylight Savings Time begins on March 12, 2023. Giving us an extra hour of daylight.
  4. March has the Vernal Equinox- when day and night are equal in length.
  5. March is statistically the least productive month of the year.
    1. Companies have lost billions in wages to staff who didn’t attend work to stay home and watch the March Madness Basketball games.
  6. March has 2 Zodiac signs; Pisces which is until March 20 then Aries for the rest of the month.
  7. The flower for March is the Daffodil.
  8. The Birthstone for March is the Aquamarine.
